    Come see Jesus other believers told me and bring the best that you have, for He is our King. And we really honor Him by just coming to Him.
    Jesus, I am poor, I have nothing to offer you that's worthy enough to give you. They are bringing you, our king, gold, frankenscence, and myrrh but all I have is the talent God gave me. It's not much but I offer it to you.

    It's about simplicity. When the church, friends, family, the world compel you to pay attention to the message of Christmas remember it is the simplicity of the Christ child, what makes God's heart smile that in the end really counts. Forget the grinch, money, gift wrap and credit debt. Just come innocent to sit at the feet of innocent God and offer Him the best development of what He has given you in your life's purpose to do. "So to honor Him when we come". Your individuality is God's Christmas gift to you and you are enough for the child King and for a friend, a family member or your coworkers or boss, just as you are. Be the best of yourself. Attitude is everything.

    Then I gave it my best shot. And played my heart out for my Christ. I'm giving the talent God gave me, back to His son. So I will do my best with what I have. And Jesus smiled at me in return. Letting me know my gift is acceptable to Him. It doesn't have to be what the world says is acceptable or worthy to give the King. I offer myself and everything I have and am as a gift back to God for giving me the best Christmas gift.

    And this goes for me today, I am that little poor drummer boy. Even though I'm not a boy and I don't play the drums. I can offer God all that I am and all that I have. And He smiles down at me and grins. He is happy with my gift of myself. He wants everyone to become that Little Drummer Boy. God has given each person a talent to do in their life. He wants everyone to use it to bring Him honor, praise, and glory. What we should not do is compare our gift that we have to offer to anyone else's gift they have to offer. And if others begin to compare us, we need to ignore them since God is who we are trying to please, man is easily swayed what is right or acceptable.

    This song means so much to mean. When I was 8 my Great Grandmother passed away. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and this was her favorite song. Now I am 12, and I am getting my little brother and cousin to perform a mini Christmas Concert, and am going to include this song. I will Have to listen to it quiet a few times to be able to sing it with them and to help them with some parts. I think this will be one of our last songs, if I can't get my tears completely under control. If I can it will be second, or maybe even first. Lord knows how much I miss my Grandmother, and someday he will place me there with her, for e is the good father, of wonders and miracles. The most selfless In the entire universe, in any universe.

    I think that this song is amazing because if you have 3 different parts (soprano, alto, tenors) that this would be a really pretty song. I love Christmas songs, they just fill me with joy. I love songs about Jesus. I have to sing these songs for choir and when people are actually trying, it sounds really cool.
