Tanner Elle Schneider, popularly known as Elle King is a highly reputed singer, songwriter, and TV personality. She also became popular as an actress and a multi-instrumentalist. Elle King has a unique music style that encircles blues, rock, soul, and country. Elle signed a contract with RCA Records before launching her debut EP, known as The Elle King EP. One of the songs in that EP, Playing for Keeps was chosen as the theme song for the famous American Reality Television Series Mob Wives Chicago on VH1.

In 2015, Elle King launched her debut album, titled Love Stuff. It was a huge success. One of the singles in the album, Ex's & Oh's, got into the list of the best 10 singles in the US. This song also received two Grammy Award nominations. The album reached the 28th position on the Billboard 200. She and Dierks Bentley recorded a duet, Different for Girls in 2016. Although it was included in the album of Dierks, this track was also launched as a single. It peaked at number one on the Country Airplay chart. This single received a Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Her second album, Shake the Spirit was released in 2018. It reached the 68th position on the U.S. album chart. It was a hit in Canada as well. In 2019, Elle King launched a Christmas song, Under the Mistletoe. It was a joint effort with Ronnie Spector. She collaborated with Andy Grammer to create a duet, Best of You in 2020. In the same year, she came up with the three-track EP In Isolation. Elle King also acted in the film, Love, Weddings & Other Disasters as a singer.

Elle King was born on July 3, 1989, as the daughter of actor and comedian Rob Schneider and former model London King in Los Angeles, Her parents divorced soon after her birth. However, they encouraged her talents and had a positive influence on her life. Elle King was into skating, playing musical instruments, and acting at an early age itself. Her mother remarried Justin Tesa, who gifted her with a record by the all-female hard-rock band, The Donnas. It was a turning point in her life. After listening to this band repeatedly, she decided to pursue a career in music. Elle King made her acting debut in the movie Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo with her father.

New York City taught her a lot about life as a teenager. After graduating from Elisabeth Irwin High School, Elle King relocated to Philadelphia to study film and painting at the University of the Arts. There she saw a band using the instrument banjo only for accompaniment purposes, renouncing the bluegrass and country musical vocabulary often linked with the instrument. This experience motivated King to utilize the banjo as a compositional tool. After the study, Elle King moved to Copenhagen and Los Angeles before coming back to New York.

Elle King met Andrew Ferguson in a London hotel lobby in 2016. After 12 days, they got engaged on a sailing trip. The couple married on February 14, 2016. Within one year, they divorced as well. In 2017, they reconciled for a brief period of one year.
