His ninth album Tha Carter IV was released in 2011. In the first week itself, more than 964,000 copies of this album have been sold in the USA. He released five more albums, I Am Not a Human Being II, Free Weezy Album, Tha Carter V, Funeral, and I Am Not a Human Being III.

More than 120 million records of Lil Wayne have been sold worldwide. In the USA, he sold around 70 million digital tracks and 20 million albums.
