Nicholas Jerry Jonas is a distinguished singer, songwriter, and actor with an enviable reputation and track record. Born on September 16, 1992, as the third son of Paul Kevin and Denise Miller in Dallas, Texas, Nick Jonas started acting in Broadway when he was 7 years old. Jonas’s father is a well-known musician and songwriter. His mother is a sign language teacher and singer. This family background created the perfect environment for him to become an accomplished musician.

By the age of 10, Nick Jonas came up with his debut single. Columbia Records took notice of this budding talent immediately. He and his elder brothers, Joe and Kevin formed a band called Jonas Brothers and signed a contract with Columbia Records. This band launched their debut studio album It's About Time in 2006. They stopped their association with Columbia Records and entered into an agreement with Hollywood Records. It was under this banner that they released their second studio album, titled Jonas Brothers in 2007. It was a turning point in the life of Jonas and his brothers. This group managed to gain a huge following through their frequent appearance on the Disney Channel. The Jonas Brothers were a part of the hugely successful musical television film known as Camp Rock released in 2008. They also appeared in its sequel, known as Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. The third album of the band, A Little Bit Longer was released in 2008. It was a great success. The lead single of the album Burnin' Up was one of the top five songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The fourth album titled Lines, Vines, and Trying Times was launched in 2009. After its release, Jonas Brothers took a break. Then, Nick Jonas created a new band, Nick Jonas & the Administration to keep his followers entertained. This band launched the album, Who I Am in 2010. After the release of this album, Jonas focused more on acting. He was an integral part of the television series Smash. Nick Jonas also attended some Broadway show roles to satisfy his action passion.

The official dissolution of the Jonas Brothers band was completed in 2013. Jonas entered into an agreement with Island Records before launching his second solo studio album, Nick Jonas in 2014. The single, Jealous in this album was a great commercial success. Later, Nick Jonas, Island Records, and Hollywood Records came together to form a record label company, Safehouse Records. In 2016, Jonas released his third studio album, Last Year Was Complicated. It reached the second position on the Billboard 200 chart in the US. This album won him the Hal David Starlight Award in 2016. He acted in the hit film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle in 2017. After two years, the Jonas Brothers came together and released the album Happiness Begins in June of that year. In 2021, Jonas launched his third solo studio album, Spaceman.
