Sam Lowry Hunt popularly called Sam Hunt is country song writer and singer of international repute hailing from the United States of america. He was born on 8 December 1984 in Cedartown, Georgia.


During his school days, he tried his hands at football and wanted to a professional footballer. But his destiny was to become a well known musician. It all started in 2014 when he entered into an agreement with MCA Nashville.


Before becoming a highly successful musician, he wrote singles for singers like Billy Currington, Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban. The first studio album of Sam Hunt was a monumental success and it broke all chart records. There were 5 singles in the album and most of them topped the Country Songs Chart. The most prominent single 'Leave the Night On' topped the Country Airplay Charts consecutively for several weeks. This song made Hunt the first country music artist to top all three country music chart in 22 years.


Several awards and honors were bestowed upon him for his wonderful achievements in country music. He is the recipient of CMT Music Award and also got nominations for Grammy Awards and Billboard Music Awards.


Immediately after launching his career as a professional country musician, he became immensely popular in UK and outside UK as well. The music community was amazed by the path-breaking artistry of this great musician and he skillfully integrated pop and R&B into the song writing and production of country music.


Sam Hunt won American Country Countdown Awards twice and ASCAP Country MUsic Awards once. He received 5 nominations for Billboard music awards and two nominations for Grammy Awards as well. Fame and money did not make a negative impact upon him and he always kept himself as a level headed and simple human being. Sam always asserted the importance of respecting woman in life.
