Sam Smith is a very famous English singer and song writer. He was born on 19 May 1992 in London and started singing at a very young age. Sam reached the hit charts as the featured singer on the Disclosure song called Latch in 2012. On the UK Singles Chart, it held eleventh position. The first single of Sam Smith is Lay Me Down was released in 2013.

The vocal work of Smith became a hot topic of discussion due to the stripped-down sound and this peculiarity was a major attraction for the music fans and critics as well. It laid the foundation for his impending success in the UK and all around the world.

Sam Smith’s featured role on the Naughty Boy’s La La La was a big hit. The lead vocal of this young man was the major reason for making this song an instant number one single in the UK in 2013. The release of his first EP titled Nirvana took place in the same year. It was an acoustic version of the Latch. In 2014, Smith released another single called Money on My Mind and it reached on top of the UK singles chart.

Later, he joined the James Bond canon of movie vocalists with his orchestral single Writing's on the Wall. This song reached on top of UK single chart and it also won an Oscar Award in 2016.
