Justin Timberlake Nominated For An Oscar For “Can’t Stop The Feeling”: Congratulations!
Pop king (now that MJ is gone) Justin Timberlake has earned his first ever Oscar nomination! It’s all thanks to his “Trolls” soundtrack 2016 smash hit “Can’t Stop The Feeling!”, which went on to peak at #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart last summer.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences nominated “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” in the category of “Best Original Song” for the upcoming 89th Oscar Awards, a ceremony that will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on February 26th (“La La Land” took the most nominations with an impressive number of 14).

SUPER HAPPY FOR JT! He should be feeling over the moon right now. But…and it’s a big “but"… chances are that he won’t win. And that’s the sad truth. The battle is going to be between “City of Stars” (“La La Land”) and “How Far I’ll Go” (“Moana”).
