Yesterday, February 15th, at night the 2016 edition of the Grammy Awards was celebrated. The ceremony was held at the Staples Center in the city of Los Angeles, California (USA). The 58th edition of the Grammys was for another consecutive year hosted by LL Cool J and the artist that received the most nominations for Kendrick Lamar - for his amazing music in “To Pimp a Butterfly”. The second and third place in number of nominations went to Taylor Swift and The Weekend, who were tied up at 7 nominations each.
Update: Taylor Swift stole the night by taking home “ALBUM OF THE YEAR” for “1989” (and she slammed Kanye West in her acceptance speech after she called her a "bitch" in his song "Famous", from "The Life of Pablo").
In terms of live performances, as every year the list of performers was stellar. These were some of the official performers at the 2016 Grammy Awards: Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, Tori Kelly, Kendrick Lamar, Adele, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato and Pitbull.
