It was a special song to me as it was my grandpa's favorite. I remember when we had hymn singing in church I would rush to find the song and call it out just for him as it always brought a smile to his face. It tells me that god is always there with me no matter what trials or tribulations I am going through. I can rely on him for anything.

My dad passed on in 1994. He was a simple, quiet man. But he often times communicated with us in his silence.
I only wished I could be with him more often. During his last day in changi hospital, I watched him slowly succumbing to cancer, and during that time, I was trying to walk with him, talk with him like jesus does with each and every one of us.
I love you, dad.
