I don't know what's going on with all the hate on this song. This is a terrific song. Whenever I'm depressed I go somewhere where I can be alone, put on my headphones and play this. Whenever I'm down, this song is always there for me. This song is my only friend no matter what people say about it. I love this song with all my heart. I wish I reincarnate into a pizza after I die and be happily ever after singing this song.

I think that this song at first appears not to have meaning, but in truth it is about the fear of never amounting to your true potential. If you changed some of the words around you could see the deepness to it. The artist is clearly talking about hiding her flaws when she talks about not putting on anchovies, only pepperoni. She tries to be more true to herself by not putting phoney baloney on her pizza. But in the end she ends up faling, and she feels ruined. Perhaps the subtext of a clumsy delivery-person dropping the pizza is a lack of faith in the powers that be, some sort of divine bad luck interfering with her ideals of perfection. The suddenness of the falling pizza could represend something in the life of the artist that took her by surprise.

Chill, it's a kid's song. What do you expect, a poignant masterpiece of lyrical genius exploring man's neverending struggle to find purpose in a cold, empty universe?
Yeah, it's a silly little song about pizza. And that's okay. Silly things are allowed to exist on the same planet as you. There are no "perils that come with this song." You're being ridiculous, and ironically, childish.

It sounds like you don't like your French class, and are taking out on this song, unnecessarily. Quit whining, do your schoolwork, and you'll soon be at a level where you can study songs that are more interesting to you. Until then, either say something useful, or be silent.

this song sucks because i have to do a French project of it and we had to make our own version of it. i hate this dumb
song and there's no deeper meaning to it besides someone being a pizza. i hate this, this song was ruined for me because of a stupid French project. also, it may seem as though I am rambling, but that is only because this stupid website that thinks this song actually has meaning is making me write a minimum of 50 words. this song doesn't deserve my time but i'm just warning you about the perils that come with this childish song. frick this
