Jesús Adrián Romero – Sumergeme lyrics
Cansado del camino, sediento de ti
Un desierto he cruzado,
Sin fuerzas he quedado,
Vengo a ti.

Luché como soldado y a veces sufrí
Y aunque la lucha he ganado,
Mi armadura he desgastado,
Vengo a ti.

Cansado del camino, sediento de ti
Un desierto he cruzado,
Sin fuerzas he quedado,
Vengo a ti.

Luché como soldado y a veces sufrí
Y aunque la lucha he ganado,
Mi armadura he desgastado,
Vengo a ti.

Sumergeme! En el río de tu espíritu,
Necesito refrescar este seco corazón,
Sediento de ti. (x2)

Cansado del camino, sediento de ti
Un desierto he cruzado,
Sin fuerzas he quedado,
Vengo a ti.

Luché como soldado y a veces sufrí
Y aunque la lucha he ganado,
Mi armadura he desgastado,
Vengo a ti.

Sumergeme! En el río de tu espíritu,
Necesito refrescar este seco corazón,
Sediento de ti. (x2)

Sumergeme!

When I read the lyrics of this song I think of my father Narciso Reyes. He was the co-pastor at Ebenezer Pentecostal church. To me he was a soldier/servant of the lord. He never faltered in his faith even when he succumb to Lou Garied disease, he never gave up to sadness. He knew he would be submersed in heavenly waters in heaven and made new with the Lord. This song the congregation sang at my fathers funeral. Becky.
