Oran "Juice" Jones (born March 28, 1957) is a retired American R&B singer.
Jones was born in Houston, Texas and was raised in Harlem, New York City, New York. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1981. He was the second African-American Brigade Commander in Naval Academy history. He served his commitment as a sniper officer in the United States Marine Corps until 1986.
He was the first musician signed to OBR Records, a subsidiary of Def Jam. He was also the first R&B artist on the hip hop record label. His song "The Rain" became a hit in 1986, peaking at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track reached #4 in the UK Singles Chart in December that year.
